Hello and Happy Monday!

It is Monday once again and I am back to a normal schedule. This means...du dun du DU! There is a new journal entry today.

Today marks a resolution to the big problem that the tiny city and it's magical tiny people were having. It's scary, it's emotional, and Lorenz is not entirely sure he wants to leave...like...ever.

Will Lorenz stay with the tiny people and live a life of peace as an openly gay doctor?!

Find out! It's an exciting journal day.

I hope you all have a great Monday and an even greater week.

Hello Everyone!

It's a super exciting day!  It's Monday and normally that would mean a journal entry, but instead there's a new book and a tiny Flash Fiction.

First of all, my 5th book and totally new series The Gemini Prince has hit the eWorld.  The Gemini Prince is about one prince's struggle to being recognized as bigender/third gender.  He goes on a fantasy journey where he meets a dashing rogue...I won't spoil too much.  You can pick it up on Amazon, ARe, or Smashwords.  Links are below.  Also, please note that in the month of January 50% of my royalties go to benefit trans youth charities.

Now then, today I'm posting a quick Flash Fiction about Horach and Marcel.  Horach is of course the deaf Warlock from Phoenix Heart, and Marcel is middle sibling of the Fates, also known as Lachesis.  They have been a couple for many, many, many, many, (deep breath) you get the idea, years.  After reading an article about a discovery in the Sea of Galilee, I had a bit of inspiration to write a quick lil something.  It hopefully gives some insight into where Horach is originally from and what his human life might have been like.  I'll link the article below.

Thanks everyone for your love and support, happy Monday and happy reading!

Happy Monday!

Yep, sorry to remind you, but it is Monday again.  But rejoice!  Mondays bring about new journal entries.

Things have become dire for the tiny town that Cyrus and Lorenz find themselves in.  It's now or never to make a decision on what to do.  However, the solution on the table is more than a little bit risky.

Is Lorenz really about to become a living Ship In The Bottle?  Find out!

I may not have overtly mentioned this, but on top of writing gay, lesbian, asexual, etc. fiction/romance, I also do quite a bit of transgender and gender fluid tales. While I have received support for a lot of my gay titles, here lately I have become absolutely astonished at the shear ignorance and prejudice directed towards transgender people.

Gearing up to work on some really hard-hitting trans titles I've started to work on some smaller projects involving trans, bi-gender, gender fluid individuals. Today I decided to do a flash fiction writing in celebration of transgender youth suffering in silence.

It's not particularly edited well, but I hope the message is clear enough. I just wrote a quick little piece entitled 'Don't Die Tammy.' It's listed in my 'Other Stories' section. I encourage everyone to read it and really consider what a child like 'Tammy' goes through on a day-to-day basis. Though the story is a work of fiction, it can and does happen everyday.

Thank you for taking the time.

Also, if my blog is mysteriously turning white on your screen, I honestly have no idea why. I have tried a thousand different ways to fix it. According to my settings, the blog is the normal brown color. It's not on my end, something's going on with Blogger and I can't fix it. Terribly sorry.

Happy Monday!

It's Monday in the new year of 2015...

Monday brings about a new journal entry and it's up for your viewing pleasure.

Lorenz is still in the land of the tiny peoples.  He agonizes over the safety of a people he has come to adore in a short time.  Will he and Cyrus be able to save these people before the ignorance of humanity claims their entire town?

Only time will tell!

Today (January 1st, 2015) all my titles come with a 50% rebate on All Romance eBooks!  In addition, for the entire month of January I will be donating 50% of all royalties gained to Trans related charities.  Now, today you can get my books half off, but I will still be donating 50% of the full royalty price to charity!  Don't miss out!

All Romance eBooks
It is now 2015 and I just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You!  To everyone that has stuck by me.  I know it hasn't been easy.  In 2014 I did a lot of crazy things and have come out on the other side because of the people around that believed in me.

In April I quit my day job as a Child and Family Counselor to work on self-publishing romance novels full-time.  I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and to tell the truth, most times I still don't.

Since that time I have published 4 books, put out 2 short stories and kept up with a weekly journal from the perspective of one of my characters that currently has 25 entries.  There is also 1 book that is waiting with baited breath to be out on the market for you and 2 other manuscripts ready to start the editing processes.  The year of 2014 clocks me at somewhere in the 320,000-340,000 words written range.  That's just unreal as far as I'm concerned.

I only hope I can keep the momentum up for 2015.  I have more months to work this year, so I should be able to do even more!...Maybe...

At any rate, I never would have been able to do any of it without the support of the people who love me.  My significant other who still works and allows me to live this dream which brings home basically no bacon, figuratively or otherwise, my mother who helps edit for no bacon figuratively or otherwise, my best friend whose fantastic art graces the covers of all my works, and to the beautiful authors and friends I have met along the way.  I'm going to mention a few by name who have really really done a lot for me in the past several months.

Jordan L. Hawk - you are always there for me when I have questions or I need to vent about something that's gone wrong.  You have no idea how much you inspire and help me get words out when I think they've failed me.

J.P. Barnaby - You are so sweet and approachable.  You also never fail to help me when I need it.  The way you push envelops has really helped me dig deep and start telling the stories that I want to tell.  When I'm worried that something isn't going to sell because it's not PC or not 'pretty' I think to myself 'what would JP do?' and I keep on writing.

Paula Coots - I will always consider you a friend.  Your book helped me really think about some sticky topics and gave me inspiration.  I can keep pumping things out because of help from you.

Jacqueline M. Rhoades - You were the entire reason I got up the courage to slap a manuscript down on paper.  You told me to just go for it, and I went for it.  Thank you.

and to the most fantastic BETA reader Kym Durham - Your thoughts have really helped to make my works better.  Thank you so so so much.  I consider you invaluable.

I know I'm not the best author in the world, but everyone helps to build me up and make me better.  I am over-joyed to look at reviews and ratings and see that over-all my books are clocking a solid 3.5 or better.  Those that have read my stuff seem to all agree that I create memorable worlds, with memorable characters that really stick with a reader.  I have no where to go but up, so for those handful of fans that I have...please continue to hang with me and I'll continue to hang with you.

Here's to a memorable 2015 with all of you!
